The world of work is changing rapidly. Working conditions today are not the same as before and people no longer rely on taking one job for life.

Discuss the possible causes for these changes and give your suggestions on how people should prepare for work in the future.

It is obvious that the working world is changing and it is almost impossible for people to work in the same job for the whole life. Although there are causes of this trend, some measures could be taken to address the issue.

1.  开头简洁提出现象，并亮出观点。人们一生只做一份工作是几乎不可能的。

2.  The cause of…， …的原因。注意这个cause后面跟的是of， 如果使用reason，后面需跟介词for。很多同学容易在这里混淆。

3.  address the issue   处理问题

There are some reasons that cause fast changes to the world of work and to people's changing jobs. For one thing, the advancing technology is decreasing the work opportunities for some employees in certain industries. Taking cashiers in banks for example, they are losing their jobs due primarily to some new equipment used in banks, such as ATM and online bank services. For another, some economic areas are emerging while some others are disappearing, which is creating some new job opportunities in new industries while diminishing others in traditional industries. For example, the development of online shopping is taking away the jobs of employees in mortar and brick stores while generating more working opportunities for online store owners and postmen.

1．  本段论述人们换工作趋势的原因：一方面是先进的技术在很多领域逐渐替代了人类，使得人们的工作机会减少从而不得不换工作。另外一方面，一些传统行业的工作流失，以及新兴行业的繁荣也会促使人们更换工作。

However, some measures could be adopted to tackle the problems. Firstly, the education system should include more science and technology subjects in its curriculum, especially those related to computer science and artificial intelligence. These subjects could equip students with necessary knowledge and working skills for their future careers (and could help them adapt to changing working environments). Secondly, more job training should be provided to working staff to help them learn more working skills. If the employees in physical stores are trained with skills on running online stores, they will be able to change their jobs smoothly rather than depressingly.

1．  本段论述人们能够采取的办法去解决这个问题：第一，学校的教育系统里应该包含更多与科学技术、人工智能相关的科目。第二，工作人员应当被提供更多的职业训练，帮助他们掌握更多的工作技巧。

The working world is changing and people cannot work in the same job for the whole life. Although there are some factors causing the change, the adoption of more science and technology subject in the education system and (of) the training could contribute to the solution.

2．  contribute to….   为…做贡献
