As the world integrates, student’s attendance at universities has becomea prevalent topic for fierce debate. Yet at the same time, various issues havearisen, a serious one of which is should students’ attendance in classes be compulsory.In my opinion, I think students need to go to all class they enrolled in.

Admittedly, many subjects are difficult to be understood without attending lectures, so attending class actually enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. More specifically, as professors always have a better understanding of the knowledge contained in the related courses and what is the best method to help students to comprehend the new concepts, individuals who attend the course on time are able to appreciate the new theories in a relatively shorttime, compared with their counterparts who refuse to go to the lecture. Thus,in order to improve the quality of learning, all students should be urged to appear in the courses they enrolled in.

Moreover, it is no doubt that attending classes helps students to network and interact with other participants. Through attending classes, students are likely to talk to their classmates during lectures, which will not only helps them to become effective communicators, but also assists them in forming relationships and friendships with their peers. According to a research from Monash University, the communication skill of students who regularly attend in class is thirty percent higher than those who seldom appear in the courses.Hence, schools need to require all students to attend all of the courses they should appear.

In conclusion, making attending classes compulsorily is a necessity inall kinds of schools, because it will not only increase student’s academic achievement, but also promote their communication and interaction abilities.
