February was Black History Month and March is Women’s History Month. Join us on March 1st as we continue our celebration of two of the dynamic demographics of the American population through a spotlight on a few of the influential Black women in music. Listen, learn, and sing-along as we explore both the music and the cultural significance these women have had on both American and global culture through song.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the program starts. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started.

You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Beijing American Center (BAC), copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted. No large bags will be allowed into the BAC for this event.
