自闭症是一种起病于婴幼儿期的发育障碍，其特点是社会交往和交流的困难以及受限和重复的行为。提到“自闭症”你想到的是什么？对待这一群体社会固有的看法又有哪些？这个群体有哪些诉求、面临哪些困境？中美公众对待残障群体的态度经历了哪些历程？蓝色行动的由来以及由此带来哪些社会变化？倡导对于社会发展有什么影响？我们需要做出那些调整和思考？

Autism is a developmental disorder that manifests in early childhood and is characterized by difficulty with social interactions and communication as well as by restricted and repetitive behavior. What do you think of when it comes to autism? What are the inherent views about autism held by society? What are the needs of people with autism and what are the difficulties they face? What is the history of Chinese and American attitudes towards the disabled? What is the origin of the “Blue Action” campaign and what social changes has it brought about? What is the impact of advocacy on social development? What adjustments and reflections do we as a society need to make?
* This event will be conducted in Chinese. The contents of the presentation represent the speaker’s opinions and research only.
讲者简介：刘金超，美国国务院IVLP学友（2017）；心理咨询师；生命教育导师；从事自闭症等残障群体教育15年；“思达教育”和“生命泉青少年成长中心”两家社会组织创办人。他关注整个社会生态对残障群体的影响，探索用共赢的方式利用商业和社会的力量推动社会问题的解决。
About the Speaker: Liu Jinchao, is a U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program alumnus (2017). Mr. Liu is a psychological consultant and life education advisor. He has been in the field of Autism Education for 15 years. He is also the founder of two non-governmental organizations: Star Education and Life Fountain Youth Development Center. He is concerned about the impact of societal attitudes on disabled groups and is trying to explore win-win ways to promote solutions to social problems through the use of commercial and social forces.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the program starts. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started.
