如果打电话时对方未有接听，电话会转至对方的电话留言(Voice mail)。你可以在听到留言提示音后，将所要转达的信息留言给对方。电话留言基本可分为自我介绍，致电事由，请求对方回话，留电话号码，和结束语几个部分。

自我介绍

• Good morning Mrs. Lynn. This is Mary from Dr. Lee's office.

• Hi, My name is Lucas Richardson. I am calling from AT&T wireless.

事由

• I am calling to remind you that you have an appointment Wednesday at 9 with Dr.Lee.

• I am returning your call.

请回话

• Can you call me back when you have time? My number is 123-456-7890.

• Would you mind call me back when you get a chance?

结束

• Thank you.

• I'll talk to you soon, bye.

Hi, Mrs.Jones, this is Mary from Precision Optical. I am calling to let you know that your eyeglasses are ready for pick up. Thanks. Bye.

Good morning Ms. Fischer. It's Tuesday Oct. 6. This is Mary, Alison's mom. I am calling to let you know that Alison will not go to school today. She is not feeling well. Have a good day, bye.

Hi Tom, this is John. It's about noon and I'm calling to see if you would like to play tennis with me on Saturday morning. Could you call me back when you have a chance? You can reach me on my cell at 123-456-7890. Talk to you soon, bye.
