This program will be offered in English. 

The 88th Academy Awards, or “Oscars,” will be held on Sunday, February 28th in Los Angeles. For decades, the Oscars have shown a spotlight on artists who produce creative and groundbreaking movies from around the world. Do you know which movies and actors were nominated for this year’s awards? Are you interested in learning more about the history of the “Oscars”? Do you want to walk the red carpet like the Hollywood movie stars do? 

In coordination with the Motion Picture Association, the Beijing American Center will host its annual Oscars Party, on Monday, February 29, at 6:30pm. Feel free to dress up as your favorite movie star, and come by for an evening of Hollywood glamour, highlights from this year’s Oscar ceremony, and a presentation by film lovers from the U.S. Embassy. We hope to see you there!
