Red scarves lead us into the future

2016年6月1日，于广州市番禺区雅居乐加拿达外国语学校一年级的孩子而言，是值得纪念的一天。这一天，孩子们不仅迎来了快乐的六一儿童节，还迎来了庄严而神圣的少先队入队仪式。

June 1st, 2016 was a memorable day for the kids in Grade one at CLS-A. Not only did they celebrate the Children’s Day, but also attended the initiation ceremony of the Young Pioneers.

在这次入队仪式中，一年级47位同学光荣地加入了少先队这个大集体。伴随着熟悉而亲切的少先队出旗曲，队旗手和护旗手迈着整齐的步伐，精神抖擞地进行着出旗仪式。紧接着全体同学肃立高唱《中国少年先锋队队歌》，孩子们的歌声铿锵有力。

47 kids entered the Young Pioneers honorably in the ceremony. With the song of the Young Pioneers, the standard-bearers did the ceremony in high spirit. The kids stood up and sang the League Anthem of the Young Pioneers with great spirit. 

最激动人心的环节莫过于学校大队辅导员刘颖老师宣读新入队名单，老队员为新队员佩戴红领巾。在欢快喜悦的音乐中，新队员迈着轻快的步伐走上舞台，脸上洋溢着幸福的微笑。老队员庄重地为新队员系上鲜艳的红领巾，新老队员互行队礼。

The most exciting moment was when Miss Aimee, the instructor of the schools' Young Pioneers, gave the list of new young pioneers. The new young pioneers walked onto the stage and waited on the old young pioneers to tie their scarves for them. They saluted each other after.  

新队员代表张肖璇、彭子涵的讲话表明了全体新队员的决心，同时也让我们看到了祖国的希望。

The new members Xiaoxuan Zhang and Joyce Peng gave a speech representing the new young pioneers. 

最后少先队大队辅导员刘颖老师带领队员呼号，孩子们意气风发的“时刻准备着！”响彻云霄……

At last, all the new young pioneers cried out “ We are ready” when Miss Aimee did the appeal. 

入队是一次自我挑战，入队是一次理想起航。希望孩子们早日扬帆起航，向我们的梦想前进！

Entering the Young Pioneers is a challenge and also a dream to fulfill. We hope the kids can start their life from here and make their dreams come true.
