HZYT UK Ltd is a company provide high-end travel and business support services to both corporate clients and private guests. The headquarter office is based in London and the China office is located in China mainland. Due to the rapidly growing demand from the clients, the company size is expanding accordingly in order to meet the needs of clients.
The ideal Business Development Manager will be a self-motivated, target driven and an ambitious individual who has a passion for travel industry.
As a Business Development Manager at HZYT UK LTD, candidate will encompass all facets of business management in travel and event industry, also client management and team leadership. In this role candidate will typically act as a Lead of service and solution delivery, which usually consists of being accountable for the delivery of the service to clients as well as managing the client relationship from a delivery and commercial standpoint. In addition, the candidate is also highly expected to be an expert in building and managing the relationship with suppliers in the travel industry such as hotel chains, vehicle companies, event venue providers, local DMC.
- Discuss client’s requirements, develop bespoke journey planning / schedules to meet the client’s needs
- Promote seasonal travel packages, manage the financial profitability of client engagements
- Establish and maintain the business model with suppliers
- Prepare, analyse and deliver client management reports
- Compiles and analyses sales figures and customer feedbacks
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with new or existing clients
- Conduct client presentations and product training
- Identify and attend client specific exhibitions and other promotional and networking events
- Prepare proposals for business development activities and undertake market research
- Monitor competitor activity and Business Travel industry trend which may impact the company’s clients
- Manage the social media account of the company
- Degree qualified or equivalent with demonstrable sales training undertaken
- Experience of selling into the travel industry sector
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with personable and professional presence and ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to deliver short term results whilst building the strategic long term objectives
- Demonstrable energy, self-motivation and personal discipline
- Demonstrate a high level of skills and experience in New Business Development and Account Management
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute fully within a team
- Strong face-to-face negotiation skills
- Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines
