The City of London Corporation is seeking a part-time (22 hours pw) Visitor Advisor for its City Information Centre

Located in an award-winning, state of the art building adjacent to St Paul's Cathedral, the City Information Centre (CIC) requires a part-time Visitor Advisor who will:

-   Be responsible for ensuring that the CIC provides a top-quality welcome to all visitors

-   Be part of a team providing an exemplary information service to over 300,000 visitors a year; and

-   Promote the City of London and its attractions and facilities to the public and appropriate organisations

-   Substantial experience in customer service

-   Excellent knowledge of London and excellent written and spoken English

-   Some understanding of tourism organisations within London

-   Fluency in German and some knowledge of at least one other language from amongst: French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Portuguese,  Japanese and Arabic

-   A good level of competence on IT systems; and

-   A Highly flexible and mature attitude

The centre is open 7 days a week, so the successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays as a regular part of a rota.
