Global Interactive Marketing Online (GIMO) specialise in all aspects of online marketing, website and online games creation in the iGaming, Sports Betting, Poker and Casino industries. Due to the growing demand for our services, we are now recruiting for a “Chinese (Mandarin) Web Content Translator” to join our creative workforce on a full time permanent basis.

Working within our Content translation team, reporting to the Content Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to assist in the translation of content from English to Mandarin.

-   Translation of content from English to Mandarin

-   Proofreading of Chinese content

-   Assist in writing promotions and newsletters in Chinese

-   Update gif / jpg banners and blogs

-   Proofread, edit and update websites

-   Create new content for our partner sites

-   Generally support the Content team

-   Communicate with Chinese customers as needed

-   Have Chinese language (Simplified Mandarin) at native speaker level and fluency in English

-   Have experience in a similar translation position

-   Be degree level educated

-   Have a good eye for detail

-   Be highly organised and motivated

-   Have experience with CAT tools (memoQ) (Desirable)

-   Have experience in the gaming industry (Desirable)

-   Basic knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver (advantageous)
