Description of the Business Line or Department 

Provide risk management solution to Corporate clients in Asia metal industries across the region. Service Financial Institutions in commodities trading (metals). Support MARK initiatives in cross selling. 

-   Main Execution role in London trading hours – service Asia metal client base requests to trade during London hours

-   Liaise with Operations and other supporting function in London for Asia MET client base 

-   Maintain good client communication flow during London hours

-   Execution of client voice dealing 

-   Client service in terms of trade confirmation / reporting / settlement

-   Client relationship maintenance

-   Marketing to ASIA MET client base during London Hours

-   Support client on boarding especially LME clients

-   Cover local London subsidiaries especially Chinese subsidiaries in terms of business and relationship

-   Support CTY e-biz initiatives

-   Provide information flow to Asia team by end of London trading

-   Follow through on compliance procedure

-   Support Asia MET team marketing activities in London

-   Ideally have work experience within the LME market or Metals focused internship

-   Dealing with precious metal business and option trading knowledge is a plus

-   Undergraduate or graduate education related to finance or commodities

-   Strong computer skills 

-   Strong mathematics in financial calculation

-   Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin

-   Good writing skills

-   Accounting knowledge to understand financial statement

-   Market knowledge of financial market not only commodities but also other capital markets

-   Knowledge of different type of financing activities related to commodities

Education

-   Undergraduate or Graduate in finance related majors , or mathematics / physics

Languages

-   Essential - English and Mandarin

-   Cantonese is a plus
