A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payments Operations Lead to join the Glint team.
Glint is a ground-breaking fin-tech platform created with the vision of a truly fair approach to money. Glint is currently in stealth, with full release set for 2017. Pre-Launch Glint has already secured £3m in financing.
The Candidate:
We’re currently searching for an analytical, personable payments professional to become our new Payments Operations Lead. You will be tasked with managing, improving and monitoring payments processes.
- Managing Payments Processes and policies
- Input into projects aimed at improving processes
- Monitoring of partner bank statements processing payments and bank deposits on a daily basis accurately and timely
- Daily capture of all payments, pre-advices and internal transfers on all banking systems incl. Forex transactions
- Identifying account reconciliation issues and finding short / long term solutions
- Following up the payment related issues ensuring that all investigations are satisfactorily resolved within reasonable time frame
- Identifying and reporting potential money laundering, ensuring payment requests do not exceed regulatory limits without KYC
- Processing payments, both inbound and outbound and managing the direct debit (medium term)
- Manage and lead a team of Payments Operators, manage the Payments Team’s daily tasks (long term)
- Collaborating with outsourced providers of operational services (long term)
- Maintain key working relationships with 3rd party payment solution companies and review payment solution integrations in order to improve customer experience and deliver an industry leading payments processing service (long term)
- Supervise payments and deposits processing and reconciliation in accordance with the company policies and procedures (long term)
- Three years’ plus payments experience
- Two years FX / eMoney experience
- One year reconciliations experience
- Experience working and excelling with limited structure
- Experience with full life cycle payments or FX management
- Team management experience is desired
- Experience resolving customer queries
- Confidence with strong presentation skills
- Bilingual desirable (English plus either Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, Urudu or Hindi)
