Taylor Wessing’s China Group has a longstanding history in advising international entities as regards their operations in China and also in providing legal services to Chinese companies investing abroad. With more than 50 professionals in Europe and China focusing on China, we belong to Europe’s leading legal consultants advising on China-related matters. We operate licensed representative offices in Shanghai (since 1996) and in Beijing (since 2008). 

We have a strong client base in China in a variety of industries such as automotive, aviation, chemicals, consumer products, food, infrastructure and services, IT and telecommunications, logistics, machinery, mining, pharmaceuticals and real estate. 

We are also proud to be involved in the development of the Chinese legal landscape as well as Sino-German model contracts through our work in the Bilateral Legal Working Group under the Sino-German Governmental Commission of MOFCOM and the German Federal Ministry of Economics. A member of our law firm is acting as head of the German Delegation.
