本月最后一次LGBTI国际电影节电影放映，美国驻广州领事馆与澳大利亚驻广州领事馆联手举办的电影放映《抱紧他(Holding the Man)》，澳大利亚驻广州总领事将会在电影放映前致词。《Holding the Man》是一部由Neil Armfield执导的同性电影，是2015年最受关注的澳洲同志电影。该电影由同名舞台剧改编，讲述两个男人Tim与John十五年的爱情长跑、以及一起对抗艾滋的故事，原著和舞台剧在澳洲都是家喻户晓。

Join us for a special screening of the film“Holding the Man”. Based on the much-loved memoir and play, “Holding the Man”tells the love story and affair between Timothy Conigrave and John Caleo. Themoving story captures the prejudices, adversity, and illness that devastatedthe gay community in the 1980s. The film will be show in partnership with theAustralia Consulate as part of the 2017 LGBTI International Film Festival.Note:The film is rated MA+ (strong sex scenes and nudity), so we recommend that audiencemembers be aged over 15.
