Highlights of the Events

Participants of this year’s most celebrated event include: The Consul General of the United States Consulate in Chengdu and officers of foreign consulates, AmCham’s Board of Governors, Chinese government officials, Fortune 500 executives, white-collar workers, foreigners and their families, local celebrities, and young fashion groups.

Dozens of five-star hotels and regional restaurants join together to present the hottest delicacies of the season, such as American hot dogs and burgers, creative snacks & desserts, local quality pizzas, Sichuan-style cold noodles and more. A combination of Chinese and Western dishes will delight your palate. There will more than enough be cold beer, healthy drinks, and wines to enjoy a happy feast.

There will be sand paintings depicting beautiful scenery and landscapes, dynamic modern dances are full of fashion and vitality. Face changing and Chinese classical dances interpret the classic charm of the region. There will be a dazzling magic show, and humorous clown performance—a charming dance by children and live American jazz music by a surprise guest. The endless performances and flow of surprises are sure to entertain you throughout the night.

Other activities include a fantasy dinosaur show, Marvel Heroes, Disney characters, Independence Day activities, pyrotechnics, and a 100-person-strong interactive drumming circle to light the mood of the audience and create a splendid American celebration.
