3 months Internship
with opportunity to turn permanent
Salary: Base + superannuation of 9.5%
+ STI (bonus)

The Company
The company is a licensed funds management company. It invests in property development projects and private equity opportunities. The development funds have delivered an annualised average return above 20%, net of fees. The company’s investors include high net worth individuals, large international companies and Significant Investor Visa Applicants. The company's Mortgage Fund has also consistently delivered an 8% annual return. The company also provides private banking services to high net worth individuals, family offices and self managed super funds.
The company’s in-house property development team is highly experienced and has developed $2 billion worth of real estates in total, from boutique residential projects to luxury hotels. The company has strong partnership arrangements with top tier hotel brands including Aman Resorts, Setai and Chedi.
Job Duties
● Fund Administration
- Unit Application
- Unit Redemption
- Unit Registry
- Annual Unit Pricing
- Preparation of board resolution for unit issuance
- Preparation of board resolution for unit redemption
- Review information memorandum prepared by law firms
● Monthly distribution calculation and payment for SPV funds (development trusts)
● Quarterly distribution payment to SIV fund investors
● Monthly financial statement and analytics
● Assistance with funds raising commission calculation
● Assistance with preparation, review and lodgement of BAS returns
● Preparation and review of bank reconciliations
● Preparation and review of management & statutory accounts for two SIV funds
● Assistance with responding to external auditor enquiries
● Assistance with preparation of annual Financial Statements
● Interaction with related party funds under management (“FUM”)
● Other ad-hoc accounting functions
Candidates Requirements
● High standard of analytical skills and computer literacy (particularly Excel)
● Ability to handle multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision
● Capable of building robust relationship with diverse stakeholders
● Strong graduates with accounting or finance degrees (please attach university transcript)
● Relevant qualifications in accounting and/or finance (studying towards CPA/CA preferred);
● Hands-on attitude;
● Attention to detail;
● Understanding and respect of confidentiality;
● Experience with accounting software such as XERO helpful but not essential;
● Excellent written and communication skills;
● Ability to build rapport with both external and internal clients;
● Team players that are also able to work independently;
● Hold appropriate Australian work visas.
