The American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China held its 2014 Annual General Meeting in Chongqing on January 23rd, 2015 Friday at Hyatt Regency Chongqing.
2015年1月23日，中国西南美国商会重庆年会在重庆富力凯悦酒店举办。
AGM, the Annual General Meeting is the most influential event with the most attendance of the heads and the senior officers from member companies throughout the year since it is the historical moment to review the AmCham's development during last year and to unveil the election result of AmCham’s leadership.
中国西南美国商会年会是一年中商会会员企业高管参与最多，当地政府以及各外国领事馆政府官员参与最多，意义最重大的活动。因为它既是我们回顾美商会在过去一年中发展概况的时刻，也是揭晓新一届美商会理事会选举结果的时刻。
This year, we have nearly a hundred enterprises to take part in the meeting. They are Directors and General Managers from the leading enterprises in diversified industries such as Intel, HP and Oracle from the IT industry, Ford, Cummins and Briggs & Stratton from manufacturing industry, Citi Bank, Standard Chartered from financial industry.
今年，逾百家来自各个领域的精英企业参与了此次年会，他们包括IT行业如英特尔，惠普和甲骨文等，制造业如福特、康明斯和百力通等，金融领域如花旗银行，渣打银行等。这些精英企业的总裁和总经理也应邀出席了本次年会。
The executive team of Amcham gave group presentations on different aspects of the development of AmCham Southwest, including membership growth, programs and activities, finance, trade and investment promotion service as well as the charity program kick-off in Chongqing.
美国商会管理团队就西南美国商会的发展情况，包括美商会会员增长情况，项目与活动，财务状况及贸易投资促进服务等各方面做了详细的报告并发起了美商会重庆慈善项目。
Raymond Greene, the Consul General , Eric Hsu, the Commercial Consul and Morgan Haas, the Agriculture Consul of U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu also attended the meeting and communicated with AmCham member companies on promoting trade and investment in America.
美国驻成都总领事馆总领事谷立言先生，商务参赞Eric Hsu先生以及农业参赞Morgan Haas先生也出席了本次年会并与美商会会员企业就促进在美贸易与投资进行了亲切交流。
During the meeting, Raymond Greene, the U.S. Consul General in Chengdu has given us a brief speech on the multiple-entry visas for up to 10 years for tourist travel and the coming promotion activities which will last for one year for tourist travel in the U.S. held by the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu.
会上，美国驻成都总领事馆总领事谷立言先生还进行了简短发言。总领事谈到了10年有效期多次往返美国旅游签证以及美国驻成都总领事馆为期一年的美国旅游宣传推广活动。
Besides, Mr. Han Baochang, Deputy Director of New North Zone Administrative Committee also attended our annual general meeting and delivered a brief introduction of the development of New North Zone and encouraged more American companies to invest in New North Zone.
此外，北部新区管委会副主任韩宝昌先生也莅临了本次年度大会。韩主任就北部新区的发展做了简短发言并表示欢迎更多美资企业到北部新区进行投资。
AmCham Annual General Meeting not only reflects the strong cohesion power of the organization, but also functions as a very good business platform for a close communication between the leading team of Amcham and its members. The success of the AGM has attracted a lot more members each year and proved a strong capability of Amcham executive team.
