The company
Liberty Living is a dedicated Property Manager for our investors, Canada Pension PlanInvestment Board (CPPIB). At Liberty Living, we live and breathe student accommodation and we’re experts in what we do – we manage 48 residences across19 locations throughout the UK.
We have fantastic Residence Teams working on the ground and around the clock to ensure that our customers – the students and our University partners are looked after. We employ on-site security and maintenance staff to ensure that everything runs safely and smoothly, as well as administration staff that support the General Managers and Assistant Managers in their roles.
Our management model puts emphasis on the General Manager and their team to be responsible for the running of each residence and in the forming of relationships with our tenants, and the universities they attend. It’s not just about keeping things ticking over; our staff are enthusiastic and friendly people who can really bond with students from all walks of life,and help to make their time at Uni memorable and fun!.
The Residence Teams are supported by Head Office &Central Services professionals who work in areas such as Human Resources,Marketing, Finance, Sales, Project Management, Facilities Management andLegislative compliance. They are based in various locations – the main offices situated in London and Manchester.

Job description
TheHead of Marketing for Liberty Living has announced a new vacancy within CentralServices. The Central Services team supports Liberty Living's nationwide network of student accommodation.
The China Marketing Specialist will be promoting the brand and product to Chinese students who are planning on (or are already living) in the UK to study at one of our target Universities. Promotional platforms include organic and paidChinese social media, Chinese language opinion formers, 3rd party partners,Chinese events (Moon festival, Chinese New Year), email and a Chinese language website/microsite.
You will be critical to the success of this role is a close working relationship with the team and an ability to create engaging content. With excellent Englishlanguage skills, fluency in Mandarin, traditional and simplified Chinese text,it is essential that you have the ability to work on your own as well as part a team, and can communicate effectively at all levels. An ability as a methodical multi-tasker is crucial.
Initially, a 12 month fixed term contract.
