We currently require a Deskside Support Engineer for a permanent role based on our client’s site in Edinburgh, you will be required to ensure that all logged IT fault calls are responded to and completed within a timely and professional manner and is in accordance with service level agreements with our clients.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Deskside Support Engineer role (essential)
- Fluent in Chinese (essential)
- Experienced in providing technical desktop and application support to staff
- Solid knowledge of IT Infrastructure & operating systems
- Experience in resolving issues with MS Office and Windows OS
- Blackberry / iPhone / iPad support / Android / Windows phone (end User devices)
- Knowledge Anti-Virus
- Tape Management
- Printers and Print Servers (set up and administration) (Desirable)
- Knowledge of server back-up tools and procedures (But not essential)
- Knowledge of Audio / Video conference set up and support (Desirable)
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills, communicating with diverse customers of varying levels of IT experience
- Able to work under pressure
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and coverage hours
- Strong service and customer ethic
- Conscientious and motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
