Expansion of label-less visa programme

From 21 November 2016, all applicants who apply online will be granted a label-less visa (eVisa) if their application is approved. This includes nationals from both visa waiver and visa required countries.

Applicants from most visa required countries, who are applying from offshore, will still need to provide their passports.

The visa is recorded electronically in INZ’s system, and the customer will not have a visa label in their passport. Instead, the visa approval notification is uploaded to the Immigration ONLINE account for that application. You will be notified by email to check your account. Advisers can either print or email the notification from the account for their client. This notification will contain details about their visa, including the travel and other conditions. Please contact INZ if there are any errors in the visa details in the approval notification.

Visa holders are advised to carry their visa approval notification when they travel. Online systems allow airlines to confirm that a person can travel to New Zealand, but the visa approval notification can be used as an additional confirmation if requested.

Visa holders must check the entry/exit or transit requirements of any countries through which they are intending to travel.

Visa transfer to new passports

Because visa details are linked to passports, people who obtain a new passport after being granted their visa need to transfer their visa details to their new passport.

Visa Verification Service

INZ’s Visa Verification Service can assist visa holders to access services where they need to provide their visa status. The Visa Verification Service provides online confirmation of a visa holder’s visa and any conditions attached to it. Third parties such as banks, travel agents, health service providers and recruitment agencies can also use the Visa Verification Service, provided they have the consent of the visa holder.

签证以电子方式记录在INZ的系统，客户的护照上不会有签证标签。而是将签证批准通知上传到该申请的移民在线帐户。您会收到电子邮件通知，以检查您的帐户。顾问可以从客户的帐户打印或电子邮件通知。此通知将包含有关其签证的详细信息，包括旅行和其他条件。如果批准通知中的签证详情有任何错误，请联系INZ。

签证持有人在旅行时，应携带签证批准通知。在线系统允许航空公司确认一个人可以旅行到新西兰，但是如果要求，签证批准通知可以用作额外的确认。签证持有人必须检查他们打算旅行的任何国家的出入境或过境要求。

签证转移到新护照由于签证详情与护照有关，获得签证后获得新护照的人需要将签证详情转移到新的护照上。

签证验证服务

INZ的签证验证服务可以帮助签证持有人获得他们需要提供签证身份的服务。签证验证服务在线确认签证持有人的签证和附加的签证条件。第三方如银行，旅行社，医疗服务提供商和招聘机构也可以使用Visa验证服务，前提是他们必须得到签证持有人的同意。
