• Analysing Developed Market and Emerging Market Equity, Fixed Income, Currency, Energy and global Commodities to present, report and audio squawk, in both Mandarin and English key market moving information and insight to major financial institutions and individual clients.

• Writing and presenting, in both Mandarin and English, daily news analysis, previews, research sheets, economic calendars and reports on key financial market events across the globe.

• Utilise financial knowledge and experience of using live audio squawk to assist and enhance product development, innovation and services.

• Utilise good understanding of the Chinese market to help set up our Mandarin-speaking service and expand our business into China.

• Working night shifts to cover the Asian trading session and occasionally working during the day to cover the European and American session.

• Native Mandarin speaker, strong verbal and written skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Good understanding of the financial market in China as well as the needs of Chinese retail and institutional investors.

• Solid knowledge of DM and EM equity, fixed income, currency and global commodity/energy markets as well as macroeconomics. Related questions will be asked during the interview.

• Postgraduate degree in finance, accounting or related fields and good accounting and finance knowledge. This is a must because as part of our product development and to help us successfully expand into the Chinese market, you will be required to make accounting and finance-related educational videos for the benefits of our retail clients (in both Mandarin and English).

• Good knowledge and participation in Chinese social media platforms.

• Candidates with past trading floor experience essential, as this role requires you to react fast with confidence and we believe the environment of working as a trader (our clientele) mimics the environment of working in this role. Thus this is strongly preferred as you are more likely to adapt to this dynamic.

• Proficiency in using MS office and Thomson Reuters terminal as well as good command of a programming language are required.

• Willing to work night shifts to cover the Asian trading session.
