Based in the Cass Business School, Post Graduate Careers and Professional Development team, the role will focus on developing a coherent, high quality and integrated MSc China Careers strategy across all relevant programmes that are in line with the school and University strategies and requirements. Managing a Cass Strategic China Project and Career related initiatives to benefit Cass MSc students and alumni. Managing the relationships between students and employers to up skill students and act as an advisory role in terms of providing students with action plans to help achieve their career goals, sourcing and manage high quality trustworthy external suppliers to provide workshops.

• Lead a coherent, high quality and integrated MSc China Careers strategy across all relevant programmes that are in line with the school and University strategies and requirements.

• Manage Cass Strategic China Project and Career related initiatives to benefit Cass MSc students and alumnus.

• Conduct New Business Development efforts to develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing external organisations.

• Manage relationships between students and employers to up skill students.  To act as an advisory role in terms of providing students with action plans to help achieve their career goals.

• Source and manage high quality trustworthy external suppliers to provide workshops, 1:1 coaching, and other career related training and events to benefit Chinese students and alumni.

• Have a good understanding of social media operation and engagement such as Wechat, Weibo etc. 

• Design (in collaboration with the professional development team) and deliver workshops to Chinese MSc students both in English and Mandarin

• Work closely with Cass Alumni Relations team to deliver regional business development efforts and career related events

·Educated to degree level or equivalent  

·Understanding of the Chinese recruitment market

·Fluency in Mandarin

·Ability to develop strong relationships

·Good communication skills 

·Able to provide guidance on graduate and lateral recruitment processes

·Experience of giving presentations to a large audience
