2017 Australian Blockchain Mission to Shanghai, China
China is setting the pace in global blockchain development with blockchain technology emerging as a potential disruptive force.
In a country with $5.5 trillion in digital payments last year (50 times that of the USA) and unencumbered by legacy systems, Chinese technology companies, financial institutions, government and companies across a wide spectrum of industries are exploring blockchain solutions as part of the Internet of Things (IoT) and broader innovation drive.
In partnership with the Australian Digital Commerce Association (ADCA), Austrade invites Australian businesses involved in blockchain technology to join the 2017 Australian Blockchain Mission to Shanghai.
In addition to three-day access to the 3rd Global Blockchain Summit, mission highlights include an exclusive program of briefings, industry roundtable discussions and networking events with China’s leading influencers in blockchain development and adoption, including those advising the Chinese government on domestic blockchain standards.
