Everyone should stay at school until they are 18. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Education plays a pivotal role in the development of a child’s mindset as well as nature. It is believed that each person should attend school till the age of 18 and I agree with this opinion to a large extent.

Staying at school provides a constructive environment for holistic development of a young child till adulthood. A longer education acts as an aid for building vital skills, such as team work and communication, by exposing students to challenging study environments through several individual and group activities. For example, through constant group assessments in school, such as assignments and presentations, children learn how to participate in collaborative situations, deal with different personalities and conduct complex social interactions, which enhance their overall personal development.

Further, with the increasing competition in modern society, a good education has become the key to achieving one’s career goals. Education provides everyone with not only technical knowledge but also practical skills, moral values as well as ethical practice, all of which take a long time to develop in order to make a person ready to pursue his dreams. Leaving school early would result in one’s inability to progress in life. For instance, a school dropout would probably not be considered for a job in well-reputed companies because he or she would be pitted against other well educated and rounded applicants who would be seen in better light as compared to the dropout.
