描述一本杂志是2015年前两场考试中被经常考到的一道话题，由于大部分中国学生平时不太爱看杂志，所以如果没有提前准备，该话题就是用中文都没什么idea，更何况是用英文说两分钟了。

I would like to talk to you about a car magazine that I enjoyreading from time to time. （先交代要说的杂志的类型，开门见山）It’s called Top Gear（回答第一个bullet point，告诉考官具体要描述的杂志的名字；这个很重要哦，千万不能2分钟说完了，考官也不知道你在说什么哦。。。） and it’s published by the BBC. I am not sure how often they get published （回答第三个bullet point） but I do have a fewcopies at home and I read them at least 3 times per week. Their editions arequite affordable and I buy them every month.

I really enjoy reading this magazine because I have always been a hugefan of cars, in particular super cars, sporty sedans and SUV’s so I amnaturally attracted to things like that. （回答第二个bullet point） Also, Top Geartalks about a variety of cars and they discuss and analyze plenty of vehiclesand compare their fuelefficiency, performanceand some build qualityissues as well as interiordesign and financialmatters （一些高大上的词汇表达，小伙伴们学起来哦J） regarding service and maintenance fees and other on-roast costs sobuyers can gain a comprehensive understanding of cars.

Also, (最棒的口语连接词之一，简洁且实用) this magazine is filled in with high definition images andsometimes I like to use them as wall papers. I guess I am too obsessed with （不要一直“quite like”哦，换一些加分的表达） cars and can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately （又是一个引起考官兴致的连接词，接下来要开始吐槽了？哈哈） a lot of local car dealers tend to mislead customers and oftenprovide false or misguided information about cars that’s I use this magazine asmy reference to learn more about them.

It’s an extremely reliable magazine and Ihighly recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a car so they can learn morebefore purchasing the wrong one because buying the wrong car can really get youin trouble and that’s definitely something that you would want to avoid forsure.
