Recently we see quite a few Tier 4 students losing their Biometric Residence Permit cards (BRP) which are your visa cards when studying in the UK. 

Please be reminded that if your BRP card gets lost/stolen, you will need to report this to your local police station and then apply for BRP card replacement. This standard process is taking at least 8 weeks and you are not able to leave the UK while waiting for your BRP replacement. This can be very stressful and disruptive if you have got travel plans ahead or need to leave the UK urgently.

We therefore strongly advise you to keep you BRP card safe at home and please avoid brining it with you all around. You are not required to carry your BRP card as ID proof in the UK. 

Interntaional Student Advice team have designed a card holder to help you keep BRP cards safe. On this card holder, we have printed our contact details so that if you lose your card unfortunately, people may be able to send it back to King's. You are welcome to collect this card holder at our main office -1 Floor, Macadam Building, Strand Campus between 9am - 5pm.
