Key functions of the job:
Identify opportunities in the East China market (covering Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui) for UK Life Science companies to secure export success.
Build knowledge of the pathway from scientific discovery through to patient therapies and execute plans to facilitate progress for British technologies.
Develop a network of influential relationships with key Chinese Life Sciences companies with the potential to set-up in the UK and achieve Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) success.
Expand ties with government, industry bodies and business clients in China and the UK, notably the Life Sciences Organisation (LSO), to develop a pipeline of trade opportunities and overseas investment interests in Life Sciences. Work with colleagues in China and the UK to match these with UK capability and strategic strengths.
