你有没有见过电视或电影中的棒球，并想，“这是项什么运动？”或者“为什么美国人如此喜欢它？”如果是这样，请加入我们北京美国中心， 在这里P.J.Nice， 大使馆官员、棒球运动员以及这项运动和纽约洋基队的狂热粉丝，将介绍棒球的历史和规则，并解释为什么它对美国文化如此重要。活动中还将展示一些运动设备样品，因此观众将有机会亲身体验一下这项运动。不要错过这个机会学习美国最喜欢的消遣之一！

Have you ever seen baseball on television or in the moviesand thought to yourself, “what is this sport?” or, “why do Americans love it somuch?” If so, please join us at the Beijing American Center where P.J.Nice, Embassy officer, baseball player and avid fan of the sport and of the NewYork Yankees, will introduce the history and rules of baseball, and explain whyit’s so important to American culture. There will also be some sampleequipment at the event, so audience members will get a chance to experience alittle bit of the sport for themselves. Don’t miss out on this opportunity tohave fun learning about one of America’s favorite pastimes!
This program will be conducted in English.

Theprogram will start at 6:30pm and doors will open at 6pm. Please try to arriveat least 10 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to gothrough security.
