Accounts Officer
JOBTYPE: 3-day part time during probation, leading to full time position after 3 months (Monday to Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm)
LOCATION: S&W Consulting Group Melbourne Head Office
Level 12, 356 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: Accounts Manager and Managing Director
Mainduties/Responsibilities:
Daily bookkeeping.
Invoicing out and allocating payments received from clients.
Daily banking and bank reconciliations.
Accounts receivable and payable data entry.
Processing payroll and commission payment.
Ensure finance documents are filed, maintained and up-to-date.
Carry out other duties assigned by Accounts Manager and Managing Director
Assist with day-to-day running of administration work such as answering incoming calls, filling and documents archiving.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Accounting
Experience: previous relevant experience is preferred
Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication
Quick learner, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Efficient time management skills and attention to details
Be a highly driven team player and able to work under pressure
Performance Goals:
Complete assigned tasks on time.
Accurate data entry and consistent performance with a zero to low tolerance to errors.
Display good communication skills in liaising with suppliers and customers.
Assist with process and system improvements.
