Have you ever seen baseball on television or in the movies and thought to yourself, “what is this sport?” or, “why do Americans love it so much?” If so, please join us at the Beijing American Center where P.J. Nice, Embassy officer, baseball player and avid fan of the sport and of the New York Yankees, will introduce the history and rules of baseball, and explain why it’s so important to American culture. There will also be some sample equipment at the event, so audience members will get a chance to experience a little bit of the sport for themselves. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have fun learning about one of America’s favorite pastimes!

Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
