2018年6月30日星期六，西南美国商会在美商会会员公司美视国际学校成功举办了年度最大、最具影响力的国际盛会——2018年美国商会（成都）独立日嘉年华千人盛典。这是美商会第14次举办独立日嘉年华盛典，庆祝美国成立242周年，本次活动由美中国际GIA学校冠名赞助，M5行政公寓门票冠名赞助。出席此次庆典活动的来宾有美国驻成都领事馆总领事林杰伟先生及官员、美商会理事会成员、会员企业代表、500强企业CEO和高管、外籍商务人士和驻蓉外国领事机构、当地政府官员及其家人、朋友等近1,300名嘉宾，可谓是精英荟萃，人才济济。

AmCham is proud to have hosted it’s 14th American Independence Day Celebration, marking the 242nd year of the United States. The largest and most influential event of its kind in Southwest China, this year’s 2018 Independence Day Celebration was hosted at Meishi International School with Griffin International Academy as the title sponsor and M5 Executive Apartments as the name right sponsor.More than 1,300 people attended with talent from all over the world, including officials from the Consulate General of the United States in Chengdu and other foreign consulate officials, AmCham’s Board of Governors, AmCham member companies, CEOs and managers from Fortune 500 Enterprises, as well as their friends and family. 

由美国驻成都总领事馆总领事夫人庄祖宜女士演唱，中国西南美国商会会长夫人思思女士伴奏的爵士乐曲为本次活动拉开序幕。接着，美国驻成都总领事馆总领事林杰伟先生致辞，对美商会自成立以来与美国总领事紧密而融洽的合作表示感谢。中国西南美国商会会长王晓东先生对所有莅临的嘉宾表示热情的欢迎，同时也感谢赞助商和会员们对美商会的大力支持，预祝本次活动圆满进行。此次活动冠名赞助商美中国际GIA学校理事兼总校长卓金香女士致辞，祝大家度过一个愉快的夜晚。

The event kicked off with two pieces of beautiful jazz from Tzu-i Chuang, wife of Consul General of the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu Mr. Jim Mullinax, and Mrs. Sisi, wife of AmCham Southwest Chairman Benjamin Wang. Then, Consul General Mullinax of the United States Consulate in Chengdu, opened as the first speaker of the evening, expressing thanks to AmCham’s concerted efforts and long-lasting dedication. He was followed by Benjamin Wang, the Chairman of AmCham Southwest, who warmly welcomed all guests and thanked the sponsors for their generous support. Jessie Toh, Director and President from Griffin International Academy briefly introduced their school and wished everyone a wonderful night.

活动当天，近70家赞助商用最饱满的热情迎来上千位嘉宾。数十家五星级酒店和地域风情的餐厅联袂呈上当季最火热的美味佳肴，美式热狗汉堡，创意小食甜点，地道高品质披萨，传统冰粉凉面，中西合璧，更有雪花啤酒，红白葡萄酒，运动饮料相依相伴，还有其他赞助商为来宾们准备的精美伴手礼和美商会定制版可口可乐，为到场来宾带来了一场幸福感满满的饕餮盛宴。

Nearly 70 sponsors welcomed thousands of guests with great enthusiasm. Dozens of five-star hotels and regional restaurants joined together to provide summer-time delicacies, such as American hot dogs and burgers, creative snacks and desserts, local quality pizzas, Sichuan-style cold noodles, and more. Food was accompanied by beer, wine, and a selection of healthy drinks. A combination of Chinese and Western dishes delighted everyone’s palate. What’s more, there were also gifts prepared by sponsors as well as customized Coca Cola bottles with AmCham’s logo, all of which surprised our guests with happiness and delight.

舞台上的表演也十分吸睛，沙画描绘秀丽山水风光，动感十足的现代舞蹈尽显时尚活力，变脸和中式古典舞蹈演绎东方经典韵味，魔术表演炫目夺人，小丑表演幽默滑稽，儿童舞蹈充满童趣；更有奇幻恐龙秀、漫威英雄、迪士尼卡通玩偶、小猪佩奇空降现场，热情洋溢的百人鼓圈更是点爆全场，精彩绝伦，让嘉宾们度过了一个愉快的仲夏之夜。

A myriad of performances entertained guests, such as a live sand painting depicting beautiful scenery and landscapes, dynamic modern dances embodying the latest trends and vitality, Sichuan face-changing and dance routines interpreting the classic charm of China. There was also dazzling magic show, humorous clown performance, charming dance by children, and more. Guests enjoyed entertainment off the stage too, like fantasy dinosaur show, Marvel Heroes, Disney characters, and Peppa Pig. The 100-person-strong interactive drumming circle further lighted the mood of the audience and created a splendid atmosphere for all the guests present.

本次活动包含了三轮抽奖环节和一轮儿童抽奖，奖品从珠宝、电动牙刷、体检套餐、运动手环、豪华五星级酒店房券到美容仪、航拍仪、成都往返美国机票不等共计50多份奖品，将此次庆典一次次推向高潮。

The climax of the evening came when three rounds of lucky draws were announced for adults and one round for children, with prizes valued more than RMB 200,000. The gifts included aerial photography, sports bracelets, round-trip flight tickets from Chengdu to the United States, cosmetics, electric toothbrushes, spa voucher, medical check-up packages, dozens of five-star hotel room and meal vouchers, and more.
