Attention: It is not a lecture! Yes, don’t doubt it, it is a PARTY!

Get your stomachs ready for some American food and snacks!

And who you will meet and talk to at our Back to School Party:

The Gilman Scholars (current American students in Chinese colleges for exchange) (for college life in the US)

Young American officers at US Embassy who graduated not long ago (for college life in the US)

Consular officers at US Embassy (for visa issues)

RELO (Regional English Language Office) officer and staff (advice on personal essay writing and academic writing)

IRC (Information Resource Center) staff (For academic research and e-library)

EducationUSA advisers (for the applications)

Don’t be shy! Talk to the staff at different tables for different topics. They are ready to answer all your questions about the college life in the US. The topics may include how to dress properly for different occasions in the US; how to get along with your roommates or landlords; Tips for a safe study abroad experience; How to improve English and ensure an academic success, and any other concerns you may have for the college life in the US.

Space is limited. Register as soon as possible! (BTW: No translation service provided for this event)

You must bring a valid photo ID in order to get into our Center. No large bags will be allowed into the Beijing American Center (BAC) for this event.
