2015年9月8日中午，在外籍校长Julaine Percy及中西方文化交流主管Yohan Tam的指导下，全体CLS中方教师及外籍教师参加了中外教师合作研讨会，通过本次研讨会，中外教师们互相了解了中西方文化，互相合作提高教学品质。
现场演示、互相讨论等形式，让老师们了解了互相之间不同的文化、不同的想法，但都为了一个共同的目标：一切都为了孩子。经过本次交流，孩子们将见证到中外教学也能完美地结合在一起。
On Tuesday, September 8, 2015 CLS teachers took part in a Professional Development workshop that was aimed at nurturing and promoting a teaching system that would draw on the best practices of Western and Chinese education. With the guidance and approval of Principal Julaine Percy, Yohan Tam, a Chinese Canadian educator and the school’s Cross-Cultural Coordinator, organized and facilitated the meeting. The workshop allowed for Chinese and Western CLS teachers to think and discuss together the most effective ways of delivering Canadian curriculum to Chinese students as a team. By embracing Partnered Teaching your children will see with their own two eyes how international culture can flow harmoniously with Chinese tradition.
