12年级会学2个作品,但是最后VCE考试的时候选其中一个
写essay,考试的时候每个作品有两个题目(一般一个题目
是关于人物的,另外一个是关于主题的) -- 自选
分析背景 (作者背景、历史、文化、社会背景)
作者的手法(书:人称,symbol, 修辞手法,结构,语
分析人物塑造(造型,性格特点,行为举止,语言特点
分析情节、主题、价值观 (要注意story-telling尽量压
体现出来different interpretations
体现对作品的熟悉 – 对“quotes”的使用
Context (情境分析) 600-800字左右 30%

Text response是专注于作品的分析,全篇文章都是围绕

的topic sentences + prompt
例子的广泛性 (personal experience; celebrities; news;
research findings; theories; films; novels; artworks; lyrics
…)
External differences may cause it hard to fit in. To draw
on my personal experience, I still remember the
confusion and solitariness when I first arrived in
Australia. My language barriers and culture shock made
it almost impossible for me to communicate with others,
let alone befriending anyone. I did not understand what
my schoolmates or teachers said, and they were unable
to comprehend my strong accent either. In the
meantime, I was always considered as ‘rude’ or
‘inconsiderate’ as I could not follow the appropriate
‘manners’ expected in a school environment. These
external differences became the biggest blow to my
initiate ambition to mingle with the locals and be
accepted in a new environment.
