2015年12月1日下午5：00，国际圆方项目在合肥高新中加学校正式启动。全体中学部师生在校礼堂参加了启动仪式，对圆方项目的六大理念和活动开展模式有了全面而详细的了解。
仪式结束后，学校将建立圆方学生发展委员会，形成以学生为主导，以圆方理念为理论支柱的德育发展模式。
At 5:00 P.M. on Dec. 1st, 2015, the launching ceremony of round square was successfully held in SCCS. All teachers and students attended the ceremony and got to understand the RS comprehensively.
Our school plan to build up a Student Development Association of RS. Students are the most important part in the process of implementing the development mode.

1.圆方项目六大理念之----国际理解Internationalism
推动国际理解最有力的做法就是接触不同的文化，成员校欢迎所有不同国籍、种族、肤色、文化的学生。在圆方精神培养下他们需要认识、欣赏、尊重、所有不同的文化、信仰以及语言，学会将自己视为世界公民，超越性别、阶层、种族、民族和文化的差异理解人性的本质。圆方成员校会在学生、助教、教职工等层面安排交换计划，每年每所圆方成员校的学生和教职工要组成代表团参加国际会议，并共同讨论解决世界问题的方法和途径，鼓励学生参与国际服务项目。
The most powerful force in advocating and promoting international understanding is exposure to different cultures. Students from all nationalities are welcomed into each school. They are taught to appreciate, value and respect all cultures, religions and languages. Students learn to see themselves as global citizens and are asked to look beyond gender, class, race, nationality and culture to understand human nature. Schools organize term-length exchanges among students, GAP students (who are pre-university, post-secondary) and faculty. Annually, delegations of students and staff gather at a member school to attend an international conference and work on solving world issues. Students are also encouraged to join international service projects.

对于圆方成员校来说，让学生认识到民主的价值所在，以及积极参加与民主活动是至关重要的。思想自由、言论自由应该受到鼓励，并建立适当的论坛及沟通的渠道。教会学生认识到自律的重要性，并学会分享其在学校运作过程中的意义。因此，在学校的管理中，培养学生组织以及其真正的责任感是圆方成员校的追求之一。
It is essential to teach students values of both democracy and importance of active participation in democracy Round Square school. Freedom of thought and speech is greatly encouraged and appropriate forums and channels of communication are set in place. Students are also taught to appreciate the importance of sell-discipline and are trained and expected to share in the running of the school. Therefore, student government and a genuine sense of responsibility in the management of the school are goals in all Round Square schools.
3.圆方项目六大理念之----环保意识Environment
教会学生学会关注我们赖以生存的星球的未来，圆方成员校学生要对于所有自然环境积极关注、关心和爱护，并在解决环境问题方面寻找办法、发挥实际的作用。学生要意识到保持人与环境相互依存、平衡的重要意义，学校要积极开发一些规则、项目以及课程强调每个学生的使命，做人类社会和全球环境的保护者及守护人。
Students are taught the importance of tending to the future of the planet. Round Square students are expected to demonstrate an active interest and concern for all natural environments, to be aware of proven problems and to play a practical role in tacking environment issues. Students are taught the fine balance and the interdependence needed to maintain a healthy relationship between human beings and the plant. Special programmers, work projects and curricula all emphasize each young person’s destiny to be a guardian of human society and the global environment.
4.圆方项目六大理念之----冒险精神（Adventure）
圆方成员核心的体现之一就是通过探险活动。锻炼身心，挑战体能以及全面认识户外活动的意义。每一所成员校都要通过户外活动及课外活动——个体及团队形式，让学生参与及体验，并以此促进个人成长及自我价值的体现。所有学生要参与类似户外拓展形式的活动，培养冒险精神，从而使学生意识到他们能做到的远比他们自己预料的要出色的多。
Building the body and soul through adventure, meeting the physical challenge and developing an appreciation of the outdoor and extra-curricular activities that challenge and strongly engage students, individually and within groups-in ways that promote personal growth and self-discovery. All students are expected to participate in Outward Bound type activities which will foster a spirit of adventure and the realization that students can be so much more than they might have imagined. Round Square schools also incorporate adventure programmes for various grades into school calendars and invite students from other member schools to join in.
5.圆方项目六大理念之----领导才能（Leadership）
教会学生学会真正的领导才能是体现在充分认识到个体责任、善良以及公正的方面。学校联合社区一起，不断创造能够培养和提高学生领导才能的机会。特别是由高年级学生充当领导者的角色，无论是在日常宿舍生活方面，还是体现在担任主要的学生领导位置方面，这样的活动应该广泛地存在学校生活中。高度的责任心和责任感从个体及群体两个层面，不断灌输给学生。圆方成员校的委员会由学生组织，学生担任各级领导岗位。每年的圆方大会活动，无论是会议议程的安排还是公共政策管理的制订，对于学生来讲，都是一个展示领导才能的理想平台。
Students are taught that true leadership is found in those whose convictions are rooted in personal responsibility, kindness and justice. Opportunities for student leadership in the school’s community are fostered. Leadership roles, held by senior students, in particular, are substantial and range from management of housekeeping positions to holding key leadership positions. A high level of responsibility is passed on to students individually and collectively. Round Square committees in schools are chaired by students, and various leadership positions of consequence are shared by the students. The annual conference is an ideal forum for students to demonstrate leadership skills, both in the planning process and public administration.
6.圆方项目六大理念之----服务他人（Service）
为了给学生一生的成长做好准备，圆方成员校一个重要的途径就是学生有服务他人的意识。学校通过自发组织、地区项目、国际项目的开展，鼓励每一个学生参与并切实保障其参与的时间。圆方国际项目从八十年代早期，在发展中国家开始实施，所有圆方学校师生共同参与，建设楼房及水利系统。学校还要对学生培训一些紧急境况下，自然灾害情况下如何有效帮助他人的技能。为使这些项目保证充分的资金及设施，学生为亚历山大亲王基金会募捐筹集。
A key method used by Round Square to prepare students for life is by the expectation of serving others. Each student is encouraged to perform a substantial project. Round Square international projects have been in existence since the early eighties, occurring in developing countries, where both staff and students from all Round Square schools work together in constructing buildings and emergency or disaster situations. To help in funding these projects, students raise money for the Prince Alexander Project Fund, to supply construction materials for the projects.
