伴着温暖和煦的春风,我们迎来了一年一度的“三八妇女节”，旭景加拿达中英文幼儿园开展了丰富多彩的三八节主题活动，让孩子们懂得如何关心辛苦的妈妈以及老师；除此之外孩子们还去慰问了为社区做出了很大贡献的义工奶奶们，并向她们表达感激之情。

三月八日当天我们邀请了帅气的老爸和可爱的孩子们为妈妈们表演并送上节日祝福。另外我们还举行了“爱满罐”的开罐仪式。“爱满罐”是“加优教育基金”开展的一个献爱心活动。我们组织孩子们进行慈善义卖等活动来呼吁和发扬善行，并将所筹善款交给“加优教育基金”去支持贫困儿童的教育与成长。孩子们还将“爱满罐”传递给了其他的想要献爱心的孩子。孩子们通过这些活动学会感恩，懂得并且愿意去帮助有需要的人。让孩子最终体验到爱、生命的价值与社会责任感。

With a warm spring breeze, we welcome the annual women’s day”, International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women for their economic, political and social achievements. In some regions, the day lost its political flavor and became simply an occasion for people to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. Some people celebrate the day by wearing purple ribbon .Sunny bilingual kindergarten organized a diversity of theme activities, to teach the children to love and care for mothers, teachers and others. Besides the big class went around the garden to visit grandmothers and other volunteers that made a great contributions to our community. They presented to them beautiful cards and other gifts to say thank you.
On the D day (March 8) we invited the handsome daddies to dance and perform for our lovely and hardworking mums. The children perform as well.
More so, the mothers organized children’s charity sale and piggy bank donations. Through this, the school will raise money to help and support less privileged to make sure they will enjoy the basic education and have a good life. It was a day to remember and as everyone worked so hard to make it a successful event.
