高尔基曾说过：“书籍是人类进步的阶梯，终生的伴侣，最诚的挚友。”3月16日上午，加拿大人国际学校的哥哥姐姐们来到加拿大美林海岸国际幼稚园与大班孩子们进行阅读分享活动，哥哥姐姐们有声有色地给大班孩子们讲着英文绘本故事，大班孩子们也伸长小脖子，认真地倾听，还主动用英文与哥哥姐姐们交流，场面非常温馨。

愉快的阅读时光结束了，孩子们和哥哥姐姐们依依不舍地道别。本次阅读活动不仅培养了孩子们良好的阅读兴趣和阅读习惯，让孩子们体会到阅读的乐趣，同时增加了孩子们与小学生交往交流的机会，激发了孩子们对小学生活的向往，都盼望自己能早日成为一名真正的小学生！

On March 16th some great children came from the Canadian International School to do a buddy reading program with the children at Mayland Kindergarten. The children paired off and read many different books together. It was a wonderful experience for everyone, the younger children practiced their English with someone older and the primary school children learned how to become a leader and learned about responsibility with younger children. We’re extremely happy with how well this event went and we’re hoping for more joint activities in the future. Thank you to the Canadian International School!
