- Primarily responsible for all legal affairs in our UK office, while assisting with matters in other parts of the EU, including project finance, project development, corporate finance, commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property, EU legal compliance, environmental, real estate, etc.
- Negotiate and draft distribution and supply agreements, construction and subcontractor agreements
- Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance to regulatory framework
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a transactional attorney at a top law firm or in-house legal department
- Ability to negotiate project sales, purchase development rights, EPC agreements and other ancillary agreements, etc.
- Strong academic credentials including a J.D. degree from a renowned law school or comparable
- Licensed to practice law in one of the EU countries, preferably UK
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, results oriented
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Demonstrated intercultural and problem solving skills
- Must be fluent in English (speak / read / write) on a wide range of time-sensitive projects
- Other languages skills (e.g. Mandarin, Italian) are a definite plus
