Baobella boutique is one the fastest growing Asian beauty online websites - with its HQ based in London. We are now looking for a super talented marketing manager who (you must be able to speak and write Mandarin and English ) has strong online marketing experience to join us who will ‘own’ the marketing strategy, direction, and execution of it. You should have a creative mind, and a background in online marketing for asian social media, such as Weibo, and Wechat. Whilst this role is online focused, there is also plenty to be done offline as well! As we are a small yet fast growing business, we need someone with a true entrepreneurial spirit , who will take ownership of the role.The benefit of working with us is that you will have the creative freedom to produce fresh marketing strategies based on your ability to analyze data , in order to generate an upward trend of growth. Due to the nature of the business, online marketing is a key role at Baobella. Therefore we are looking for an exceptional individual who has proven experience in B2C online marketing (ideally in beauty, but not a requirement) - in particular for far east asian consumers. You will need to have a proven ability in creating and developing successful data driven marketing campaigns , and having a strong understanding of analysing the data. Having a deep understanding of social media is vital, especially chinese social media such as weibo and wechat .We have a pure passion for beauty...We believe you need to have this passion as well!
- Marketing strategy - come up with awesome marketing campaigns that are data driven and execute them
- Company branding- improve our branding to make it stand out from our competitors
- Social media - Work with existing influential Bloggers, and develop new relationships
- Manage our social media outlets including facebook, Youtube, weibo and wechat
- Develop new relevant channels for new marketing opportunities
- Create and execute relevant social media content for these channels to raise awareness of our brand and new deals for our customers
- Data : Deep knowledge of using the correct tools and softwares to analyse data
- Analyse the campaign data to make the most cost effective campaigns for us
- Regular data presentations to CEO
- Strategic partnerships- find targeted companies to create a partnership for us that will bring in new traffic and customers to our website
- Managing teams of designers and writers - brief the designers and writers for the marketing campaigns in Mandarin and English
- Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development and checkout function
- Manage all aspects of web analytics related to commerce and communicate relevant information to team members and executive leadership
- Drive SEO and PPC campaigns to drive revenue and customer acquisition and identify multi-channel initiatives
- Lead and inspect team members to design for advertising banners, leaflets and other promotional material
- Be creative be bit “crazy”, come up with some ideas and present to the team, if we like it we will do it!
- Can speak and write in Mandarin and English
- Minimum of 3 years experience in online marketing
- Demonstrated ability to create programs that increase revenue and generate customer acquisition, conversion and retention
- Have experience managing SEO, SEM and social media (including weibo and wechat)
- Email Marketing experience
- Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
- Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Results driven - focus on revenue and traffic growth
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong management and organisational skills
- Have some knowledge in Korean and Japanese beauty brands
- You must have valid visa to work in the UK
