The Commercial Team are responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through NPD launches and marketing campaigns. We work across a diverse team of specialists and with our global markets to deliver outstanding communications. Whilst we have highly differentiated products, our consumer experiences are not consistently differentiated across all touch points. We need to be content rich, user centric and data driven. This means we need to develop new capability, processes and tools and embed an organisation structure that can scale. As part of our strategic growth plan, we are creating an Integrated Media & Comms team that will drive innovation and integration into our global media & comms plans. Our goal is more data driven marketing solutions.
- The Digital & Data Media Analyst will play a role in supporting the Performance Media Manager & Channel Architect and the wider Planning & Operations team to build data insights which will help the team make informed decisions
- You will Configure and optimise tools employed within the team. Including Dashboards, reports etc.
- The Digital & Data Media analyst will identify performance issues through data interpretation as well as support the Commercial teams, CoEs (centers of excellence) and ocal markets with KPI setting, in line Metrics that Matter framework set by Group team
- You would need to generate weekly snapshot reports on paid, owned and earned channels performance and develop monthly trends reports to highlight how Dyson is being perceived across different markets
- The Digital & Data Analyst will spot trending topics and conversations and understand where, who and why they are happening (for potential ops to engage) as well as develop and enhance processes for data sharing (who do we share with, what do we share) to ensure data can be used effectively within the organization
- The Digital & Data Analyst will Tool will have a strong knowledge of a range of social media data tools (e.g. Adobe Social, Radian6, Social Bakers etc.)
- You will have a deep understanding of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics and Instagram Key Metrics, as well as some exposure to China market specific platforms including Wei Xin, Baidu, Youku/Tudou, Weibo and TMall, and be able to develop reports that provide insight and business intelligence
- You will come with working experience of Campaign evaluation – developing evaluation methods and support the team in developing activity evaluation reports for markets and Group, as well as advanced Excel skills and a proficiency in web analytics
- The Digital & Data Analyst will be highly analytical, strong attention to detail with an ability to understand, analyse, report on and present/visualise data in an engaging way as well as an ability to spot issues and trends and make recommendations
- A BSc Degree Maths, Statistics, Analytics or equivalent would be advantageous with 3+ years’ experience in analytics, with at least 18 months in media and social analytics
- Native proficiency in Mandarin and English would also be necessary
