西澳政府多元文化部公开招聘志愿者，为即将到来的中国农历新年来西澳旅游和参加活动朋友，提供语言翻译服务。
西澳政府重视农历新年
2017年，是澳洲与中国关系一个大事件年份。
澳洲和中国建交45周年。
西澳和中国的浙江省建交30周年。
澳大利亚中国旅行年。
2011年的统计数据，有超过16万中国人居住在澳洲，这个数据是2006年的一倍。此外，超过75000的人拥有中国血统。
这使西澳多元文化部Office of Multiculturalism （OMI），他正在与其他机构和社会团体策划一个中国农历新年2017活动计划。
在2017，西澳大利亚政府，在与广泛的合作伙伴合作，将提供一个令人兴奋的计划，以补充现有的主要社区庆祝活动的中国新年活动。这一计划有助于增强中国人对西澳大利亚的文化理解和增强旅游、教育和社会经济成果的。
中国新年2017农历新年将在2017年1月28日，庆祝活动将持续到二月底。
政府招志愿者
澳洲政府将招一批志愿者在以下地点提供中文翻译服务。
服务时间：
2017年1月15到2月5日
服务要求：
· The volunteers will provide language support to Gold Coat Ambassadors at the Perth Airport to assist tourists from Chinese languages speaking regions. Four-hour shifts linked to flight arrival between 5.00 am – 5.00 pm.
· Each volunteer will fulfil minimum 2 shifts during the whole volunteering period.
· The volunteers will be required to attend a short interview at 140 William Street, Perth on Friday 6 January 2017.
· The shortlisted volunteers will be required to attend a Volunteer Orientation at Perth Airport on 11 January 2017.
· The volunteers will be required to comply with Perth Airport’s Code of Conduct, Drug and Alcohol Policy and Emergency Training requirements.

· The bilingual volunteers will support the activation program, welcome people in Mandarin and provide event information. Four hour shifts between 10.00 am – 10.00 pm.
· Each volunteer will fulfil minimum 2 shifts during the whole volunteering period.
· The volunteers will be required to attend an on-site Orientation/Briefing session on Friday 27 January 2017
· The volunteers will comply with the Code of Conduct, Drug and Alcohol Policy and Emergency Training of Avid Events.
服务时间：2017年1月30日
服务要求：
· The volunteers will provide event information to visitors of the activation between 12pm – 2pm.
· The volunteers will be required to attend an on-site Orientation/Briefing session on Friday 27 January 2017
The volunteers will comply with the Code of Conduct, Drug and Alcohol Policy and Emergency Training requirements of Avid Events.
志愿者要求
Fluent in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese
Previous volunteering experience in events or within the community
Customer service and teamwork
Comfortable working in crowds
Outgoing and friendly disposition
Knowledge of Perth area
Energy, passion, flexibility, reliability and commitment
参加资格
Age 18+ and available for the period 15 January to 5 February 2017 (Please advise your age group in the Expression of Interest Form to assist us in providing a diverse volunteering base).
Available for the required Interview and Orientation/Briefing sessions as listed.
