  Lecture on IELTS Learning Techniques

长春市实验中学国际部秉承以最细致化的教育，引领学生最卓越的成功的教学理念，国际部张主任致力于为学生打造多元化学习平台，2016年12月14日星期三，在省厅支持下吉林省教科文发展中心携雅思教学名师，以如何快速提高同学们雅思成绩为主题，为我校10年级的同学们进行了语言学习讲座。

Based on the educational idea - detailed education cultivates excellent students, the Director of Changchun Experimental High School Sino-Canadian High School the International Division commits herself to give the students a diversity study platform. The Jilin provincial educational scientific and cultural center did a lecture on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 in order to improve the IELTS score of the G 10 students.

首先是赵旭老师发言，他用风趣和幽默的语言讲述了有关于雅思的学习。他提出，单词对于雅思考试是重要的，想要考好雅思，至少要有4000+的单词储备。

而且对于单词要求，不仅是要会写，更多的是能听写，听到这个单词可以准确的写出这个单词的拼写，甚至包括词性，词形等。所以在背单词的时候，要边听边写边记。接下来赵旭老师为我们简单规划了雅思的学习计划，雅思听力128篇，雅思阅读96篇，雅思大作文10篇，小作文16篇，和口语50个话题讲座等。对于口语难题，是众多学生所头疼的问题，赵老师形象的模仿了很多电影电视里的角色，同学们的欢呼声，掌声此起彼伏。提高口语的办法就是模仿，每天不用多十句就好，只要坚持下来，就可以取得成功。

Mr Zhao Xu  did the presentation firstly. He said something about IELTS learning humorously. He said vocabulary is essential for IELTS learning. You should grasp at least 4000 words if you want to do good in IELTS. And for the vocabulary, spelling is not enough, you should be able to dictate the vocabularies, even the part of speech etc... So it’s better to listen and write at the same time. And then Mr. Zhao listed an IELTS learning plan as follows: 128 IELTS Listenings, 96 IELTS readings, 10 IELTS writing task 2 , 16 writing task1 , and 50 oral topics . Oral test is difficult for many Chinese students, so Mr. Zhao imitated many roles in films to teach the students how to practice oral English and all the students enjoyed his show.

随着赵旭老师话题的结束，王昱瑾老师也为我们分析了关于英语的学习方法和技巧。

Wang Yujin also made a brief analysis of English learning methods for the students .

时光飞逝，一去不复返，所以应当珍惜时间，珍惜当下，努力学习。希望同学们通过三年的努力，在雅思中取得更好的成绩，为三年后升入理想大学奠定基础。

Time flies, so we should cherish the time and try our best to study. Wish all the  students could get  satisfying  IELTS  score through three years’ hardworking and lay a solid foundation for university study.
