Job description
We are recruiting a Mandarin speaking Part-time (20 hours per week) Marketing Assistant to help with developing our brand online presence. Working for our world leading education company, you will be responsible for growing the visibility of the brand in your region. In order to succeed in this competitive landscape, you will need to have excellent language skills and a keen interest in online marketing. You will work in a multicultural, fun and professional team.
You will support the team in the following areas:
Content: translate and create content for Kaplan website and write articles about study English abroad for Kaplan blog.
Website /usability/CMS: support the Marketing Team in optimising content and usability of the website.Update all content on the site and ensure it’s well-presented.
Email: manage CRM activity for China and Taiwan markets, translate and write content for emails, prepare images, overlook layout, analyse performance.
Social Media: generate content for Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, and run paid campaigns on social media platforms.
Paid media: support Google and Baidu paid campaigns.
Affiliates: identify potential partners for us to work with.
PR/Brand awareness – improve brand awareness of Kaplan in Chinese speaking countries.
Video: Interview Chinese speaking students, maintain YouTube and Youku channel by updating school videos and student interview videos
Offline support: support China and Taiwan office to request offline materials to central design team.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will:
Be fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken) with a working knowledge of English
Have a degree in Marketing, Copywriting or Journalism
Have PR, Marketing or Journalistic experience and knowledge of marketing for consumers in China
Have basic knowledge of search engine optimization, CRM, social media, online analytic tools, PPC, and content writing for web
Have an understanding of HTML and CMS
Have knowledge of offline marketing
Be detail orientated
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
Be organized and able to multitask
Be driven by results
