What it's about
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Qualifications Development team within Cambridge International Examinations. Our dynamic team develops and reviews qualifications taken in 160 countries, including IGCSE and International A Levels. We very much welcome applications from candidates with solid previous experience in qualification development or in assessment.
What you'll be doing
Cambridge reviews all of our qualifications on a rolling cycle and this will be the main focus of your work, ensuring high quality, attractive and innovative qualifications for our schools. You will manage the revision of a portfolio of syllabuses and sample assessment materials or the development of any new qualifications. This role will include liaising with colleagues, schools and other stakeholders such as HE and manage external consultants to update materials and see the project through to publication. This role would suit an experienced assessment specialist looking to take on a new challenge.
What we're looking for
You will be fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Experience of data analysis would be a distinct advantage. Any international dimension to your experience would also be useful.
You will:
• be educated at least to degree level (or equivalent);
• be fluent in Mandarin Chinese
• a degree in a science subject, mathematics, modern languages or computer science may be an advantage
• have a solid and extensive background in either qualification development or assessment
• have previous experience of creating high quality documents for publication
• have excellent experience of managing projects in the educational sector.
