We need a passionate business manager who ideally has several years’ experience of operating business via vertical ecommerce and integrated ecommerce platform and experience to achieve sales revenue targets and increase the commercial performance of company direct channel.
You will own business performance, financial and customer KPI's, and be the customer advocate, identifying and leading initiatives that drive the customer experience. You will develop a deep understanding of customers and online activity which will drive sales and online engagement. The successful candidate will be partnering with BD and marketing units, as well as key stakeholders on a global scale to own and operate all companies owned digital channels.
Main duties and responsibilities
· Develop annual, quarterly and ad-hoc plans to achieve business goals and sales revenue target.
· Lead and manage incremental marketing/campaign spend through clear ROI justifications.
· Own and drive online sales number, maximise online revenue and profitability.
· Attract new and existing customers to ecommerce proposition via all customer acquisition methodologies( SEO, e-mail, Affiliates, video display)
· Manage online margin through effective pricing and promotional activities
· Lead the development of business forecasting models, analysing business performance/ROI, providing sales budgets, acquisition forecasts and business analyses and customer performance reports.
· Work alongside the indirect Business Development and marketing teams to ensure customer contact management and sales growth is aligned under a single plan (incremental vs channel shift sales growth.)
Skills and qualifications required
· Understanding of multiple ecommerce skill sets including, SEM, e-mail, re-targeting, affiliate programmes, SEO, CRM
· An up-to-date understanding of ecommerce trends and the latest online sales tactics/best practice.
· Commercially astute with a proven track record of growing online sales in a multi-channel organisation
· A highly analytical approach with experience analysing data to understand business performance, customer behaviour, marketing campaign effectiveness and translate them into actionable insights.
· Experience across acquisition, lifecycle marketing, UX and visual design.
· Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment with a highly ambitious, international team.
· Excellent presentation skills with ability to present to highest levels of an organisation.
· High level written and verbal communication skills in English is required, fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
· Highly competent with Excel and other MS Software applications
· A degree level education
