【走进美国---现场报道】爱你并助你成长！12月16日晚，旨在帮助华人孩子提升领导力，并同时助力华人家长的公益组织HUG360在Plano成功举办了盛大的现场活动。

HUG360启动晚会于Plano PCAC教会举行。达福地区许多华裔家庭来到了现场。值得一提的是，整场晚会从策划筹备到主持表演都是HUG360的孩子们作为主要担当，晚会举办相当成功。正如HUG360 的创办人李梅花博士所期望的:“HUG360是一个帮助家长和孩子一起成长的平台，是一个培养孩子领导力才能的平台”。

晚会伊始，在热烈的掌声中，HUG360 Founder李梅花博士首先上台进行了讲话。作为HUG360的主要创建者和总设计师，李博士详细阐述了HUG360的宗旨架构及目标，也简单阐述了目前HUG360的发展情况以及发展计划。HUG是 “(H)ELP YO(U)(G)ROW” 的缩写，取“爱你并助你成长”之意；360是“全方位”的意思。HUG360寓意为帮助家长和孩子全方位成长。

谈及创建HUG360的初衷，李博士说：“她希望以自己多年的经验尽其所能去帮助更多的家庭培养出“身心灵，Physical、Emotional、Mental、Spiritual” （缩写为 PEMS）全面发展的下一代，并引导他们逐渐成长为有益于社会的领袖人才。HUG360将竭力打造一个积极向上、互爱互助互利、充满爱心和正能量的公平合理的平台。在这平台上孩子们有多种机会锻炼自己，并充分发挥自己的才能，在成长中成为帮助他人，服务社区的领袖人才。”

李博士也介绍了HUG360的核心理念。HUGHUG360认为：领导力的培养和发展是一生的功课，青少年阶段尤其是学习实践的黄金时期。HUG360将由技能和专业高强并经过严格选拔的家长组成的义工管理团队（“家长团队”），指导和带领8-12年级的青少年领导人运营整个机构。目的是给青少年培养领导才能提供一个最佳途径，也是让他们在实践中成长的最好方案。这些青少年领导人都是从下属本机构的俱乐部主席中挑选和提拔出来的年轻领导人才。

所有俱乐部是由4年级以上的孩子来领导和运营，这里是他们锻炼和成长为领导人的基地和平台。每一位4年级以上的小朋友都有机会锻炼和成长为名副其实的领导人，条件是：只要他愿意。不管是总机构还是俱乐部的年轻领导成员都会在一年之后经过推荐和评选来替换和轮流担任，以做到公平合理！

HUG360家长团队成员共同认为，只要在鼓励自我认知并让孩子放松和快乐的环境中学习和锻炼，在培养责任感和团队精神的正能量环境的影响下，任何人都可以成为好的领袖。同时，这种精神和经验一定会以正能量向周围传播和辐射，从而影响到更多的个人和群体，以便对人类和社会做出贡献。

从成立至今，HUG360已建立了包括演讲训练俱乐部、社区服务俱乐部、阅读/写作俱乐部、青少年部长俱乐部等在内的14个各具特色成熟发展的俱乐部。成立晚会上，这些俱乐部的Club Presidents分别上台介绍了他们的俱乐部，并邀请现场的孩子们加入他们。
