电影制作文化交流：4部短片放映和讨论 Cultural Exchange Through Filmmaking: A Screening and Discussion of 4 Short Films

8月17日，周五，晚6：30 – August 17th, Friday, 6:30pm

与华时代全球短片节（HISFF）合作，北京美国中心将举办一场关于电影制作作为文化交流媒体的活动。活动中我们将放映四部短片，由2017华时代全球短片节提名并由具有美国或欧洲海外学习或工作经历的中国导演执导。四部短片包括：程鹂的《家》，王书艺的《龙舟·聚》，王奕菲的《当偷窥狂遇到盗窃癖》，以及杨懿陶的《Forever & Always》。

放映后，将有机会与嘉宾进行讨论，其中包括大象公会创始人黄章晋，中国著名演员王学兵和《家》的导演程鹂。讨论中，嘉宾将分享他们的个人电影制作经验，并讨论国际文化交流对电影业的影响。他们还将在时间允许的情况下回答观众提问。

电影为中英文，配有中英文字幕。讨论环节将用中文进行。

In partnership with Hua International Short Film Festival (HISFF), the Beijing American Center will host an event on filmmaking as a means of cultural exchange. During the event we will screen 4 short films that were nominated by HISFF in 2017 and directed by Chinese directors who have studied or worked overseas, either in America or in Europe. The 4 films will be: Cheng Li’s Jia, Wang Shuyi’s Awaken Dragon Together, Wang Yifei’s When a Peeping Met a Kleptomaniac, and Yang Yitao’s Forever & Always.

Following the screening, there will be a discussion with several special guests, including Huang Zhangjin, the founder of Elephant Group, Wang Xuebing, a well-known Chinese actor, and Cheng Li, the director of Jia. During the discussion the guests will share their personal filmmaking experiences and discuss the impact international cultural exchange has had on the film industry. They will also answer questions from the audience as time allows.

The films will be in English and Chinese with English and Chinese subtitles. The discussion following the screening will be in Chinese.

The program will start at 6:30pm and doors will open at 6pm. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security.

Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
