Azure Group is an international Chartered Accounting firm providing sophisticated cross border accounting, tax, transactional and strategic advi­ soryservices to Australian, Chinese and many other international businesses.
Azure Group’s Shanghai office is currently looking for an internship candidate to support our expanded business in China. The successful applicant will have recently completed their accounting qualification in Australia (or be verynear completion) and be intending to return to China to work.
High performing interns may also be offered a fulltime job opportunity with Azure Group China and receive CPA mentor program sponsorship.
Position: Intern
Location: Shanghai
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Data entry and bank reconciliations
Accounts receivable and accounts payable control sheet updates
Assisting with attaching and archiving tax invoices for management purposes
Participating in weekly team meetings and assisting with issues identified
Assisting with closure of year end
Assisting with year end compliance filing and scanning
Assisting with monthly compilation of supporting accounts documentation
Assisting Tax manager in drafting up tax returns for expat or investment clients
Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills Required:
Exceptional English and Chinese verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Excel & Word skills
High attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
Highly motivated, autonomous and intelligent
Completion of tasks within budgeted timeframes and the willingness to go that extra mile to create the best outcome for our clients
