Message from Angelique Brunner

Dear Investors, Attorneys, and Friends of EB5 Capital,

This is certainly an exciting time in our industry. Investors from around the world seem intent on filing their I-526 petitions before September 30th, even though it seems more and more likely that the debate will carry on well past this date, and that Congress will extend it as is while they discuss various reform proposals. Both houses of Congress were on recess until September 7th, and the House is also on recess from September 21st to September 25th, which means there are exactly eight working days left before the end of the Fiscal Year. High-priority items on the list include a bill to avert a government shutdown, a bill to raise the federal government's borrowing limit, and a bill to reauthorize federal highway funding - not to mention major debates on President Obama's Iran nuclear deal and on the now-defunct Export-Import Bank. The EB-5 Visa Program, although very important to us, pales in comparison to some of these more pressing issues Congress is facing this month. Rather than rushing to invest just to get into a project before September 30th, I encourage all investors to stay focused on the factors most critical in choosing a Regional Center. One with a successful EB-5 track record, previous I-829 approvals, and a strong project should be the goal - whether it's before September 30th or after.

Past Project Updates

We have exciting news to share on two of our past projects. The Coliseum (Jobs Fund 10) closed with the developer this past month, and construction is now fully underway. $18 million was raised from 36 investors in order to help finance the historic redevelopment of the Uline Arena into a mixed-use office and retail building. Additionally, investors in Riverfront at the Navy Yard (Jobs Fund 8) have begun receiving I-526 Petition approvals. 24/7 webcams have been installed at both construction sites, which we require for all of EB5 Capital's projects. Exemplars Filed for Jobs Funds 14 & 15

We recently filed I-924 exemplar petitions with the USCIS for our Portland Hilton Canopy (Jobs Fund 14) and225 North Calvert (Jobs Fund 15) projects. As a precautionary measure, to the extent possible, we will be filing exemplars for each new project as we begin offering it to investors. Columbia Place (Jobs Fund 9) will be filed soon as well.

China Trip - July 2015

We have been visiting China almost on a monthly basis as of late, and trips will continue into the fall. This past July, Angelique Brunner and Juline Kaleyias both traveled and spent several weeks with our two Regional Managers in China - Ruoyan Zhao and Bella Bao. The team met with agents and investors in eight different cities across China. As always, please contact us if you would like to arrange a meeting during our next visit.
