2014.10.28,国际部加拿大高中举行了10对11年级的篮球比赛，双方各由一名外教带领，10年级由年轻善战的Colin老师带领，而11年级则由老练的Chad校长带领，其中Colin是跆拳道黑带，运动能力不可小觑，而Chad则在高中篮球校队参加过比赛，双方实力相当，大赛一触即发。

11:40，在主持人Grace宣布开始后，双方均发出了呐喊，以示信心。上半场的对决中，10年级抢得先手，一路抢蓝，最终领先了2分，而在下半场，11年级在部署新的战略后，由杨晟霖一路强追，巩源快攻，Chad负责篮下以及投篮使得比分抢平。于是为了一决高低，进入了加时赛环节，时间为2分钟。

加时赛开始，双方对决便进入白热化状态，两方队员抓住一切对方的防守空隙强攻，10年级的队员抓住先机，攻入了一个篮下球，而这时双方的体力亦渐渐不支，10年级最终获得比赛的胜利，首场比赛宣告结束。决赛定于下周由本次赢家10年级代表队对抗中英梦之队，期待下一次的精彩。

2014.10.28, We held a basketball competition, which was Grade 10 versus Grade 11. The teams were led by a foreign teacher for each. Colin led the Grade 10s, and Chad led the Grade 11s. Colin was a very energetic and skilled teacher who did Taekwondo in the past, while Chad was a basketball player when he was in senior high school. They both had lots of skill, this would be a competition that worth watching.

At 11:40, after the host Grace and May announced that the competition had begun, both grades showed confidence by cheering loudly. At the start of the game, the Grade 10s got many opportunities and were 2 points ahead. After the Grade 11s changed their strategy, with Vincen’s breaking, Braydon’s quick attacking and Chad’s shot, the points game was tied. To see who is the winner, they joined in a 2-min overtime. As the overtime was going, the two teams tried their best to play and attacked every weakness that the rival had. The Grade 10s made the first shot, and all the players had ran out of energy. At last, the Grade 10 team won the competition, and will challenge the Sino-British program soon. We can’t wait.
